Speakers on a vest/jacket (torso top) help ??

    Ello
I'm a dancer and me and my crew likes to do random dance moves anywhere when we feel like it. (Subway, the middle of a street, etc..)

Problem is, we don't have any music.
A boombox is too much trouble, most speakers are too heavy... And we usually don't have the time to set up all the equipment.

Recently, I watched the movie step up 3 (Lol yeah) and a dancer could be found wearing a jacket/vest with speakers implanted onto them.

Normally, I would google for this but I got some bogus results like water-proof speaker sheathing.... so,

What are they called? Where can I get them?
How much do they cost? (price is not a problem)

    Thanks

    hey,

this is the closest thing i could find >.<
i remembered looking at some shirts from the thinkgeek website and they have shirts with speakers that play drum sounds when you touch them, there should be a way of connecting the shirt speakers to an mp3 player, might be too much hassle though haha

here is the link to the shirts http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/interactive/

Haha, I remember watching a movie called Mismatched Couples with Donnie Yen, Yuen Woo Ping, Kenny Perez and et cetera, and Kenny Perez had a jacket or sweater on with speakers in it.

But on topic, I think you need to custom build it, if you build it on your own, the more cheaper it is, places would probably charge three times as much.

If your dancing you won't want speakers on your shirt. They'll also require batteries which will be heavy unless you want to drop some dosh. I'd do something like what was suggested earlier and invest in some speakers for your ipod.

Why don't you buy one of the IHome's? Select models can be moved around etc. and will run on batteries/a set charge for a bit of time.
They're built for the Ipod and are rather loud too... Would be your best bet IMO.

What I would recommend for dancing would be the skull candy backpack. I forget the exact model name, but I know it has speakers implanted in the straps. You could easily clip this on and dance all day long!
