i feel sorry for his family, and it gonna suck for thoses people who recorded it there goin to jail or gaol

 

DAM I'd probably kill myself aswell his friends an asshole.

Personally i dont like Gay like the whole thing in general ... i kno ppl who r gay i dont chill with them but there cool guys...

obviously if this kid jumped off a bridge he had more problems than just that one i mean come on... at one point everyone gets laughed at... i have no remorse for this kid university is hard by its how many hits u can take and keep pushing forward that makes u who u r... i guess this was the easy way out for him which makes him a coward honestly..

but the invasion of privacy was wrong none the less...

 

Why are people jumping to conclusions about him having some other issues? You do not know that kid, you do not know his name. how can you just say "OH THERE MUST BE SOMETHING ELSE GOING ON TOO. NO ONE WOULD KILL THEMSELVES OVER THIS". Everyone watched him make out with another dude LIVE. And he dormed. Imagine walking by every day and having people laugh at you. What would he tell his family?

 

To be honest, I think it takes more balls to kill yourself than to "push through" as you worded it.

 

Nope doesn't take balls to kill yourself..... I bet 99.9% regret it during the act...but there is no true answer either way its cowardly and selfish in a way but at the same time its a human being so you still got to feel emotions for the person.

 

If that's the only reason the guy committed suicide, then thats just silly. It's a sad story and it's a little messed up his roommate did that, but just that particular reason shouldn't be enough to make someone kill them self.

just an update. the two are being charged with 4th degree invasion of privary and third degree distribution of porn.

Imagine your worst secret coming out and it is complete opposite of what people think of you. That's like a nun being a prostitute. Once people know that, your life will never be the same.

 

Then I deal with whatever comes my way, just because life might get hard, I'm not going to go kill myself. I think this guy should have just dealt with it and should have been proud to be a homosexual because really, there isn't anything wrong with it.

 

This finally reached the news in AUS, tbh though went a bit far, I wouldn't kill myself for that, people have to find out eventually. Although maybe in not such a cruel way.

The people who streamed it caused him to kill himself. You're saying they deserve no punishment at all?

R.I.P. Tyler Clementi. It's horrible that he felt being openly gay with everyone is worse than living. :'(

5 years for the other guy you say? You can't put a number of years on the consequence of being the person that makes another person kill themselves..wow.

Now we better hope that the people who streamed it don't commit suicide because of making their friend commit suicide.

You really should calm down. You're acting as if people knowing you being gay is worth suicide; it's not. The person obviously had issues to escalate the incident more than it was worth.

Yes the people did invade his privacy; but saying they should be charged with manslaughter is saying any act that ends up ending a person's life without intention is classified as manslaughter.

 

Although I strongly agree with the fact that taping the incident was a major invasion of privacy, I think the way the punishment is being dealt out is wrong. The guy videotaping is looking at 5 years. How much of that sentence is from the invasion of privacy, and how much is actually from the fact that the guy he taped killed himself?

Let me create an analogy. I kill my next door neighbour's cat. My neighbour kills himself because his cat is dead. My neighbour's extreme overreaction to the situation should not have an effect on my sentencing. I should receive the same punishment as anybody else who has killed a cat recently.

How many times are people videotaped without consent in this day and age? The majority of cases, nothing is done about it. Maybe a slap on the wrist, maybe some fine print added. This kid is looking at FIVE years in jail. If the guy getting taped didn't commit suicide, I'd be surprised if this situation would have even led to a charge.

 

I agree with this, and I was thinking this too no matter how much of dick he was and did lead to the consequence of someone dying he didn't physically kill someone. What happened to the other person who he was having sex with?

 

I already think about suicide daily so I'd probably do the same thing. Lol

 

The roommate shouldn't have recorded it, the kid shouldn't have killed himself, and Molly shouldn't have gotten in trouble.

The whole thing is fucked up


The kid that video taped it is being wrongly charged in my opinion. He should be charged for invasion of privacy and that's it. The kid that killed himself made the choice and at what point does personal responsibility come into play? If i were to kill myself, I would consider it my own fault.

 

People do idiotic stuff like this a lot thinking it will be harmless and not hurt his friend at all and in the end it will just be funny. But people fail to realize it is just not funny and its cruel to even do. But its a shame he committed suicide the best of my wishes go to his friends and family.
