Back the old Runescape? READ

Have you ever guys fought of writing a petition for a JageX to create Runescape 3 (I mean the runescape 3 would be the runescape in nowadays) and leave the second part a Runescape 2 like an different game, make it to play like runescape classic, think of it guys. Old pking, old staking, old graphic (317 source) and etc... make it like it was in 2001-2004 , I know they have everything for that, they just should make it available to play. What's pluses for them?

-The member still would cost.

-They would make a lot of new players, as much of them quieted after some of the updates, no1 would cry about the new updates, coz everyone would play RS2, and those who want good graphic and other shit, could play RS3,

There's some webs to create petitions and etc... We would need like only 1-10k (don't know how many actually ) signatures, witch isn't hard to get... Of coz we would need to work much advertising it and etc... but I think if you try u get it. Thoughts?

It splits the community up and things would all be mixed up, prices of items between each server would be different depending on demand, they would need to split the moderator group into two and they'd have to host it on another server which costs more money. I'm sure you could try but just don't hold your breath if they don't take your suggestion and put it through because I doubt they will. It is just too much of a hassle to be hosting two versions of it at once.

Some reasons why they won't do it :

- Too time consuming to organise
- Too few moderators.
- RWT (Real World Trading)
- Scamming
- It will split RS into two communites. (old & new)

 

It won't ever happen. No matter how many people want it back.

 

another reason it wont happen is because of the cost of the servers they'd need to run separately for rs2.
If there were only like 4 worlds like classic has, they'd all be full at all times.

 

You're wrong, if 90% of the runescape players would want, they would make it the way we want

 

There have already been complaints by most of the RuneScape community when they removed pking, staking, etc.

Even so they just continue to make more and more crap updates.
Jagex doesn't care about the community. They know we're hooked and probably won't stop playing regardless of what happens.

- Nobody cares, as nobody cares about rs classic sellings
- forget it they will be contraceted about RS3

Someone told me Jagex are gonna make RS3 and its going to have night time and day time and the general store closes at 9PM haha. Wow has day and night its actually pretty cool

 

There seems to be a lot of threads about the old Runescape lately, although they will never make a new runescape or convert the old one back unfortunately. They have sad several times they aren't going to do it. Plus with the whole "90%" thing, I would estimate about that many players didn't like the change and it still happened. The only way it would be possible is if you could get up to about 99 of the players to stop paying membership and stop playing. You have to stop there source of money before they will even consider taking it out.

 

Hard to believe there's still people crying about this. It will never go back. I repeat, NEVER. Play a private server or get the hell over it. It's a game.

Oh also, 2001-2004 times would put you playing RSC... Obvious newfag is obvious.

 

They aren't going to deviate resources to maintain and create new updates for two separate games.
