    Arcane Stream, it's only -1 magic bonus compared to 3rd age, and it's a beast to have.

    Actually he'll be risking arc stream as well. Every single damage boosting staff protects over arcane stream.

    It's actually not as useful as people would like to think due to the simple fact that it has to be risked. Of course once you're high enough dung (80+) you can easily get one back in about 5-6 hours making it equivalent to a fire cape risk.

    If the OP wants to go all out, get chaotic staff +arc neck. Adds up to +35% damage boost while only risking arc in +1.

    Definitely arcane. It gives the 15% extra damage boost and is only slightly lower magic bonus.
