That's the idea of a VPS, to show a different IP, that and you don't need your computer on but yeah.

Also there was a thread here somewhere about appeal keywords, if its an auto-response, try explaining that it was not from your IP, while trying to sneak in those keywords. I'll find the thread.

EDIT - I can't seem to find the thread search is being weird. But It's called like 'So Jagex i heard you like keywords' or something. from a month or two ago.

 

I had set up a 'Hacker' in order to suicide SW with the account.
Got banned.

Appeal took unusually long but got denied anyways... D=

 

Yeah most people watch the bots while they do it for you and take longer breaks than usual, so I think you should be safe anyway.

Btw, ive seen screens of mod mark saying it doesnt matter what IP botted on your account since you are responsible for it's security, therefore a VPS is only useful nowadays if u got a legit acc u really care about that u don't want to be linked to a botters IP

 

my freind was botting for me and got banned. I said somone else was on my account. and they unbanned me

If you are banned for botting and this is true there are several ways to get rid of that IP... One... Go unplug your router wait 5min and plug it back in... Your IP will change.... 2 get a VPN and bot with the VPN.... google VPN if you don't know what that is or if you don't know how to get one. 3 Call your internet company and have then issue you a new "IP Location" or what ever they do.... or you can google "how to change your IP" for more IP changing tips....

3. I have a lvl 114 with over 210 mil on it... Banned for botting (but i didn't bot) i was on vacation and when i came back (2 Months later) it was banned for marco... so yea... I didn't know what happened... I have P Mod Friends who talked to a J-Mod for me and it still was never unbanned.... so GF my account...
