[How to:] be 100% safe online[~LS]

Click HERE for a FREE IPhone!

If you clicked it, this guide is for you.

Internet fraud is growing immensely day by day and people are trying every way to obtain your private information!

    F.A.Q:

I have an unguessable password! But, is that enough?
Sadly, no. It only takes one click and your password is in the hands of someone else. Example: You come across a suspicious email claiming you have won a $100 gift card.
You really need the money as you want a new bike, so you open the email and deem it "safe".
By deeming this email safe, your computer will not see it as a threat. If you open any documents attached, the hacker is in your computer and, depending on his skill will have more then enough information to obtain your email password.
For this reason, you should have a different password for each account you use.
    Example:
    Email Address Password: Example12345
    Sythe.org Password: Examples54321
This way, the hacker cannot surf your emails, see what you use and access more then you think.

However, even this isn't enough. As something as simple as your IP address is enough for the hacker. There are many programs that change your IP with one click. A good program for Mac and PC is Hotspot shield. Using this program, it will completely change your IP, thus making it enough harder for the hacker to get ahold of you.

How to deal with malicious emails:
]If you have received such an email. You can easily delete this email without opening it. If something looks suspicious - Do not open it. Just select the email and send it to trash.

What if I've already opened this email?
The hacker most likely has access to your files. To detect this, run a *full system* virus immediately to rid any pestering viruses.
If you do not have anti-virus software, then you are not protected against these viruses and you should download a free anti-virus straight away.
Some great free anti-viruses are; PitBull, McAfee, AVG, etc.

    Helpful Tips:
    -Frequently change your passwords.
    -Run regular virus checks.
-Don't access your accounts on a public computer(Net Cafe, etc)
    -Trust no one.

All your guides are common knowledge.

Please actually post something that is hard to do, and is worthy of a guide.

Well the first thing I suggest is to rid of the underlining a whole paragraph. It just makes it so much harder to read. The colours you have chosen are a pretty good choice.

With a guide you're meant to have an introduction, body and end. I see you have a great starting point, an average ending and virtually no middle part. What I suggest is to add in how they get your email, how Phishers work, what they can do with your passwords etc etc. Just go over every F.A.Q and expand on it - that would be a good starting point.

Now when I was hacked I wasn't phished, keylogged or gave my password to anybody. It was just the hackers found a vulnerability with the site. So, they gained my user name and password by that - just saying you can't be 100% secure.

    0/10.

Changing passwords, using different passwords, and running anti-virus software makes you 100% safe online? Think again. A person only knowing your IP can ruin your life, with ease. While your tips will help, it's not near 100%, it can differ from application to application, and it is common knowledge .

Also, I couldn't really read the text too easily, the colors clash with the background (i'm using classic skin), and the underlining just gives me a headache.

Sorry I couldn't find anything positive to say, once you make revisions i'll surely visit again. (if you decide to revise, that is)
