Proof Of Being Banned For Real World Trading In Runescape

RSBOT was taken down by Jagex? So they could of easily recorded all the IPs that visited, checked their Trade history == ban?

I do not understand how they ban you either.... That is why I posted this thread to figure out what people were banned for and see how they got banned.... I was looking for proof of people being banned I would like to see pics of peoples accounts where they show the ban in the offences history...

The choose is so low, if you look at the choose of getting banned for botting, it's low to so RTWing..

 

Guys here' how they ban you(only if you use a site such as Gold4RS etc)

1. They see the IP changes
2. They look at known Gold selling site's IPs
3. If they match any, banhammer time.

I got banned in 08 for RWT and they counted it as a minor macroing ban.

 

Generally speaking it is pretty safe. Although I have seen some instances where people have gotten banned.

I got banned for RWT 3 years ago. It just shows up as "manual perm ban" tho. If I click "view evidence" it says the following:

We regret to inform you that this account has been banned as a result of Real World Trading.

We do not discuss our detection processes.

You have been deemed to have been in complete control at the time of the incident.



Edit: as you can see they do not dicuss their detection processes, just to avoid us getting smarter. This is exactly the reason why I doubt you'll get any smarter by our threads. I was extremely cautious, as I was droptrading money in semi-crowded areas. Yet they seem to have found me, my bad. It's the risk I knew that came with it.

 

I sold gold to r2pleasent few years ago on a rare named account, jagex banned me 2 days later, im still trying to email them to get it unbanned the account had a mask set and 3 santas still and thatd be epic to have now at their current value

If you commit an offenc they will only ban youup to 30 days... or well thats what i was told so you can stop worrying i believe haha...

You're an idiot.
People used to buy banned accounts just to use their unbanning methods (which used to work).


I, personally, have never been banned for RWT, and I've bought well over 600M.

i still got a lvl 3 acc with over 500m in it banned back from 04-05. forgot the name and pass of it tho...

I was banned for RWT in 07, recovered account via account recovery thread in 09. Sold gold.

 

Can't see any of the offences could you show the offence history please?...

Chances to get banned are really low, and if you are cought you are just unlucky. Only way to get banned for rwt these days, is when j-mod catches you. As you can see in picture above, he was *manual banned*, means j-mod cought him in game.
