My pick is obviously the best player, Kobe Bryant.

 

Both of our opinions are biased. I'm going with Kobe for the sure fact that he doesn't give up.

 

Also, a better overall player, and more fundamentally sound.

 

Give LeBron 7+ more years then this would be an even discussion.

 

Why? He's not going to be averaging even close to 25 + PPG this year, or 8+ rebounds. There will be Bosh hogging the boards, Dwyane getting the points, LBJ will just do a little of all.

I don't think LBJ will be good when he's in his 30s because of his lack of a jumpshot. Driving into the hole will only take you so far once you're about kobe's age.

His jumpshot has been getting better and better every year, especially last year.

 

His jumpshot looks like shit, if you leave him open of course he's going to put in... sometimes. Even Rando makes open jumpshots. Teams want LBJ to take the jump shot because it's really ugly and bad. If you contest LBJ jump shot he will never make it.

Also, his inability to make clutch jump shots are another thing.

 

Another few reasons to help Mr.24...

-He knows whose his father is.
-He was a planned baby.
-Doesn't give up during the playoffs.
-One of the best work ethics in sports history.
-Isn't a cocky media whore.
-Most complete player in the game.

 

A couple of those were cheap shots.

Whoever said Lebron won't get 8+ boards is crazy. One guy isn't grab all of them, the Heat NEED Lebron to grab some rebounds.

His point average will be lower, but he'll be close to averaging a triple-double.

 

Definitely Kobe. He's probably the best player that ever lived. I hate this question sometimes because Lebron James is a young player and hasn't exactly played for the same amount of years that Kobe has. But if you were to compare their NBA career, their performances, and their success, Kobe Bryant would definitely be up there.

 

Cheap shot or not.. Some idiot is going to bring up Colorado and will say... "Son of a whore>Rapist".

Lebron is an all around better player.

 

I don't see Lebron working his ass off with injuries trying to improve his game. Ever little thing the media puts out called "Lebron "workout"" is just for that 2 hour time period.

What did Kobe do this summer to get better?

-Surgery
-Hit the weight room
-Try to get quicker
-Vacation with fam
-Camp
-Charity
-China

What did Lebron do?

-Small workout just for the press.
-Throw a "I run Miami party" for a whole weekend
-Charity

Lebron has never been known for lifting weights, he's just a natural big guy.

Kobe is definitely the more harder worker between the two. Lebron is just a natural born talent, does that make Kobe better? No.

Kobe can shoot and play defense, while Lebron is the whole package.

 

That is why Kobe was the best non PF/C player in the post. He has if not the best, the second best jump shot in the NBA *Behind Ray Allen*. I'll give it to Lebron that hes the one of the best driving it into the hole. no pun.

 

There are plenty of people ahead of him that are better playing in the post. Second best jump shot obviously wasn't there in game 7.

Honestly, the last two years Lebron should've won defensive player of the year.

 

Game 7 of last years finals was considered one of the best DEFENSIVE games in history. Which non-PF/C can post up better then Kobe? Also, the best jump shooter went like 0-14 in the finals.

 

Kevin Durant, nuff said.

Even if it was the best defensive games in the history, Ron Artest played better than Kobe.

 

All Kevin does is shoot, dunk, and score in ways that don't involve posting up.

I know Kobe played like shit that game but so did everyone else (besides Ron).
