Long story short, I was assigned a science fair project that is taken pretty seriously at my school. I don't really have an idea of what I should do, so suggestions would be seriously helpful

In the 5th Grade Science Fair, I did my project on light bulbs and how much they would light up depending on the amount of energy there was. We connected wires with batteries that lit up the light bulb.

You can possibly get an idea from that.

When selecting an idea try and find something that is easily compared with something else. For example, the rate mold grows on cheese in different locations of your house, (bathroom, basement, fridge) then compare and come up with a generalization. These kinds of projects tend to be the easiest/best for science fairs for around a junior high level. If your a senior or about the grade 10 level i recommend something a bit more in depth
