Donor Icons.

Recently many people have been talking about the new donor ranks. I thought it would be useful to create this thread and see what people actually think of the ranks. Listed I have the original ranks, new ranks, and the ranks I created which many people say they like. Please vote in the poll, and post your reasons.

Thoughts behind the ranks I created:
$5: This is one of the best updates. I liked everything about it and decided to keep it.
$25: I really disliked the new version of the $25. I thought dragon claws would be a better symbol for $25 rather than $50. I also gave it a slightly bigger cash pile.
$50: I really liked the old Blue Mask icons. I also felt that $50 deserves a much bigger cash pile, but not as big as $200.
$100: I really felt that the $100 rank deserved a full cash stack. $100 is a hefty sum of money, and it deserves a full stack. I also thought the sgs represented it well.
$200: I didn't fancy the new one too much, but overall I don't mind. A royal crown does not have much rsgp value, but it close to a party hat, and party hats represent power on sythe.

 

I'd be happy with just the ags, for the 100 dollar donor rank. The stack doesn't bother me, just something new either than the same llegacy rank would be nice.

 

I agree with the new suggested icons, I hope they get changed.

 

I like the original ones better, tbh. The cash piles don't do justice for the new ranks. Hence why I voted for the old ones and the suggested $100 rank.

 

I voted for all the old icons. The new ones look... not very creative.

 

Even though Verts, had an open thread about suggesting new ranks, I don't like how she got to chose which ones were gonna be used. I'd rather have seen an open poll in the donor lounge for each level of donor's to pick their ranks from a list like you're doing now, so we wouldn't have any arguments about it later.

I also, didn't like how she made it a "surprise" and a "secret", until the day they were implemented if she would have shown us the ranks sooner maybe they would have been changed to something different beforehand.

 

The cash piles and a crown should be changed definately.

 

The only one I don't like is the new 25$ rank.

 

I personally think the cash piles should all be the same.

 

The $100 should be a different symbol, the suggested one is good - hopefully Verts may change it soon.

I liked the old ranks, Those small cash stock just annoy me.

I couldn't agree more with your suggestion. Though there will be the $50 donors who will complain that if they donate $49 more, their stack will go down..
