99 Herblore or Construction

For quiet sometime now it has been my goal to an expensive 99 at a average level. My main is currently 94 and i have decided I would like to start going for either 99 herblore or 99 construction. I already calculated it all and i have enough money to get either or.

so i cannot choose which one i should get so i ask you guys

post and tell my why you think i should get that one

 

Well, Idk how you calculated but 99 con is like 1/3 the price of herb. Id say do herb if your sure you can do it. But do 99 con for a guaranteed 99.

 

Definitely herb! If not just for overloads/extremes. Construction has no applicable use.

 

Herblore. If you're planning on selling the account, people go CRAZY for 99 herblore.

 

prayer pots to 99 is the same price as 99 construction

this is my very 1st rs account, never botted, always played by me. even when i do quit i do not plan on selling the account

 

Its something about the 99 Herblore cape that stands out among other and id go for 99 Herblore simply because the cape.

 

Okay, still though. 99 Herblore, how rare and cool-looking is the 99 Herblore cape?

Just get both stats to 91. Once your 91, they are both practically free because people need assist.

 

I'd say Herblore. Construction is fairly useless because not many people use their houses.

construction and herblore are both pretty close to how rare they are

 

Con > Herb

Con is around 80m Herb is around 320m , I got Herb the other day.

 

When would you actually use construction?

 

^ Idk, house parties maybe? And btw mate, you can't use overloads etc for PK. It's mainly for corps/GWD.

I got 99Herb on the double xp event day too.

 

It's hard to say, but in the future if you wanna sell your account, I'd say do herb.

I like construction though. Looks cool

 

Since money isn't a factor, I would advise you do herblore. It has more applicable uses. I know you say you wouldn't use the potions, but that is beside the point. You never know if in the future you might want to do some PvM, and when you do, you'll have overloads. Construction has no practical use. It's a money sink. You can build things that are convenient, but most of the useful items come at a (relatively) low level. Nothing over 75 is really all THAT useful.

tl;dr:
The logical choice is herblore, because Construction has no practical use past level 75 or so.

99 con w hammers making oak larders (or doors) is 75mish
99 con w/o sc hammers (larders/doors) is 150mish
99 herb with pray pots from 70 herb is 265m

 

Overloads/Extremes can't be used in dangeroud PvP situations, but they own face when used in PvM ^_^

 

Construction is the way i would go. It makes you look like a total BAMF for having that skill cape and for having the house to back it... I wish you luck in your endevors
