Approx Cost and Time required for 75 construction.

I think this is the right forum section, apologies if it isn't...

Obviously I'm going for a gilded altar on one of my accounts, but it's been such an incredibly long time since I've done construction, I have no idea of prices for it.

Does anyone know the approximate cost for 1-75 construction, and how long it takes? The time taken isn't so important, as it'll be botted, but if anyone knows a fairly accurate price, that would be brilliant.

 

I heard oak larders are good. Can't really give you est price or time

 

I think that is supposed to be the best into higher levels - at least that is what the bot I have recommends.

 

I believe it is around 8-10m, as I am going for it myself.

Wrong. Do calculations before randomly posting. It's like 110m+ for 99, which is 13m+ xp. 75 is 1.5m xp

Maybe a bit more than what I said, (using oak larders) but anywhere around 10-14m.

from 1 - 70 was 8m for me. i didnt get any higher.

id say 10m or 11m for 75

Will you be using SC-hammers? I'd suggest you get those if the bots supports them..

 

For this estimate, I base my calculation on oak planks only from 1-75, which ofcourse you wont be able to use directly from the start, but it should give you a fair idea.

20,174 Oak Planks x 563 gp = only 11.3M. With the Butler (if your bot supports this), you should count another 1M to be safe.

 

My method is a bit pricey but it was stupidly fast.
Teak tables, at the time it cost me around 16 mill to get to 75 (remember this is the fast way not the cheapest) If you have money to blow do it this way

 

About 12m max.

Bare in mind, you need to use other materials at the start.

 

Lmao no way in hell construction is anywhere near 40gp/xp.

On topic:
Since nobody else stated it, you can get a gilded altar fairly easily at level 69 construction by using POH tea (Teak Shelves 2 required I think) and a crystal saw (Eyes of the Glourphie). You can also get it at 66 with spicy stew but that would take entirely too long. Doing it at 69 construction would save you a considerable amount of money seeing as the altar itself costs almost 2M to build, on top of the fact you're going to be spending like 8-10M just to get the level required.
