90 str hits less than 99?

I have 80 attack and 90 str, do I hit less than I would if I had 99? Or is attack the only one ruling?

 

You'll hit lower than if you had 99 Str, but not technically "less". Of course, you'll hit more "legitimate zeros" (a zero where you scored a hit but for a damage of 0, as opposed to a miss) with lower str, but at 90 str the chance of hitting a legitimate 0 is low.

 

attack just controls how often you hit high

 

Not how often you hit "High" but how often you hit in General.
Strength is how "high" you would it..

 

Attack - accuracy
Strength - damage

 

When your 96 Strength then you can't hit higher, even if you're 99.

Edit: Wait.. Not sure with the "new" hp update thingy.. But i know 96 was max hit before it, not sure now tho.

No, you will hit more with 99 strength.
At 96 strength with whip and no other bonuses you will max 242.
At 99 you will max 249.
Its not much, but you hit more

99 Strength will obviously hit higher than 90. Attack is how often you hit and strength is how high the hits will be.

this. and idk what that 96 str being the max hit level is.. pretty sure if you were 99 and you potted + pray you would hit harder than your opponent who was 96 str with pot/pray.
