What happened to prices??

I was gonna sell my 2k main but I remember a good overall main going for around $250 and now 131's go for $60? WTF happened?

Most likely those accounts got hacked/phished or something.

 

130+'s don't really go for $60 or so often but it does happen sometimes. Prices have probably decreased because the accounts don't have certain items or gp, there are becoming less and less transfer methods and people in general are losing interest in runescape so there are less people buying. That's my opinion, anyway.

 

Then someone told me BS, cause I got my main valued in $60 and a long time ago I was scammed when I tried to sell for $250, and now it's far better.

Most of the time accounts that go for that low are stolen or the person is a scammer and wishes to get some money and then quickly recover the account. Just remember, "If it's to good to be true, then it probably is."

 

Yeah but everybody seems to be selling 1m for $.50 so I'm confused :S

 

1m for 0.5$, no way. nobody on sythe sells that cheap legitly...
mils usually go for 1.5-2.5$ if u go with highly trusted ppl
but some guys sell for about 1$ (untrusted), but 0.5$, no way

 

Like I said, the account in question only had 14mil, which isn't a lot at the moment. I do agree with you but that#s just how it is.

 

Although 14m isn't much, you also have to consider the quests, special items, and the stats. Your not going to sell $14-$20 for a level 130 just because it has 14m.

 

That. It has 2k total people. 99 mining, 89 RC? Come on you dont find that everyday.
