I had a good day at TDs..

If a mod could please rename this to "Mattjew's drop log" and move it into the progress log section, I would greatly appreciate it.

UPDATED: Soloed a pair of claws, and another lump. The trip was only about 17 TDs long and I managed to get both in the same trip. Pictures:





The first split surprised the shit out of me. A system update started, then like 2 minutes in (8:00 or so remaining until the update) my computer freezes and I had to restart and get logged back in and load up LS again. Literally like 30 seconds after I turn on LS, and like 2:30 before the system update, we get a nice surprise with this:



So we tele out and log back in after the system update to go for another run. 2 kills into that trip...



We stay for a while, kill about 50 more TDs and get nothing. Bank and go back, about 15 kills in we get this:



So after that I had to go to school so my partner duoed with somebody else. I get back from school and decide to test my luck at getting a pair of claws solo, and get this about 100 kills in:



^ Not amazing, but I can't complain about a free 3.4M. All in all, amazing day at TDs. Gonna camp there now . Btw, the first split was like my 3rd ever trip to TDs, so I was fairly bad at it. After getting 3 splits in like a span of 2 hours I decided to actually put forth some effort and now I'm fairly decent I guess. Void switching/turmoil switching is easy, can usually get 25+ kills solo with a tort/bunyip.

Oh and btw yeah these are my first ever boss drops pretty much. Highest value reward I've received otherwise is a Karil's Top from barrows, I think. So the freak out in the first picture = completely justified. Lmao.

 

Why do you have over 1000 hitpoints in the first picture? o.o

 

Overate with rocktails. They heal you up to 100 above your maximum LP. I'm 99 HP, so that would be 1090 for me.

Um I'm not sure. I've never tried it with low defense, but they still hit me pretty often even at 93 defense (if I mess up prayer switches)

Nah. Watch a guide on TD's, it's rather complicated. Gotta run around and pray switch / safespot a lot.

It involves luring, safe spotting, prayer switching, and a lot of inventory/familiar management (if you plan on lasting more than like 3 kills) so I'd say it's far out of the realm of a bot.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments. Barely did anything on RS today but I'm gonna get back on my goal of trying to get claws solo tomorrow or Sunday (have a birthday to be at tomorrow, doubt I'll do much 'scaping) and I'll update it if/when I get a pair.
