I used to get a lot of shit for my hair breaking the dress code in high school because it was too long, I was always hiding from my dean. Does your school have a dress code? If so what does it say about hair? You can't really be too upset if you agree to a dress code and then get sent home for violating it.

 

That's the thing we get given these handbooks at the start of year and it says absolutely nothing about hair. It's just you need your full school uniform tie etc.. school shoes boys can't have earrings no facial piercings....etc

There is more bullshit rules such as you have to have your shirt tucked in if you get caught 3 times with shirt untucked you get detention.

Also if your hair is too long here they make you wear a hairband.

Yeah, that really doesn't look bad at all I can see why you and your mom are pissed off. It's not like it's an unusual and distracting hair style. It would be one thing if you had giant spikes or something.

 

Exactly even though the fade also has a bit of a twist I can't explain here but I can't see why I'm not allowed short hair when people are allowed long hair.

If we would get suspended for such reasons in Lithuania, the students would kill each other lol.

We do not get suspended in Lithuania.

If seriously, when a Lithuanian comes to UK, USA, we instantly get a higher grade, because your studies are so easy compared with ours.

Our goverment is going to reduce our studies in school by 30% because of this lol.

The point is, your schools are crying for every bull shit, in our schools you need to do something very very very very serious to get this.

I would like to study in usa/uk etc., because it would be so easy (I have finished the school).

If they have a dress code and you break it, they have every right to suspend you or punish you. You choose to go to that school, so you chose to abide by that schools rules. It is ridiculous to suspend you over a haircut but rules are rules.

 

Meh,In one state they Kicked out this one kid in elementary for having his hair to long ( a boy)....and he was in like 3rd grade.
