Yeah well - it has to go up eventually, its at rock bottom so there is no where to go but up. I also heard some friends who are in different merch clans saying that it might be an upcoming item so we will see. In the long run I will make money off of this though so meh.

 

Good luck with it, I stopped playing RS before GE merchanting got popular so I'm not very good at it.

What ever happened to sitting in Fally world 2 and selling whips for 5m...

 

not necessarily good, more like merched item that you will loose money on because people like you know when to dump them and end up screwing over everyone else.

 

I miss that - where you actually had to expend some effort to buy and sell things and manipulate prices to profit. I miss Barrows and rare flipping so much. Also the random people who tried to lure in World 2, was such a blast.

 

Runescape just isn't what it used to be anymore, sadly.

I remember merchanting cowhides from F2P players, lmao.

 

xD I've never merched cow hides but I stuck to W2 for barrows/ranger sets/obby sets and rares, typically masks. They were easier to flip than Phats.

 

Cowhides are a LOT older than that. That was before barrows were even out, lol.

 

I know that but I wasn't into merching until I discovered how profitable it was. I was always a PVM and quest kind of player, from RSC until like 04/05. Then I started PVP and in like 05/06 I started merching.

 

It's a risky investment. People usually keep their crashing merches until they recover a bit. Then they sell again, causing a second crash. After the second crash, it would be a good time to invest. Unless this was a solo/duo merch and they actually got rid of their complete stock, I wouldn't recommend this.

This is the lowest they have ever been and I'm not gonna let them go pretty much. No matter what I'm going to profit off of this merch or at least break even. I'm just gonna ride it out and see how far this will take me.

 

what's the point of blocking out how much you spent..

 

Maybe so jagex doesn't look and be like, oh this account has that exact amount *ban*.
