Fagex scammed me?

Well, I made a level 3 account, and got a free trial 7 day member ship from Fagex. I autoed it pretty much 24/7 for 5 days. Today, being the 5th day. They went ahead and charged me for the whole month, which wasn't supposed to happen until day 7. Then immediately (as in 2 minutes) after they charged me, they banned my account. How shady is that? FUCK YOU FAGEX.

I believe they tell you to cancel on the 5th day/before or be charged.

And I do remember reading something about Jagex perm banning botters now, apposed to giving them the 10 day ban.

Depends on the bot, and botting in f2p is always risky.

 

i'm not sure, it seems like theres more people getting banned within the last 2 weeks than there was before.

ot, that sucks that you lost that 5. isn't that like illegal or something to charge you for something you didn't get to use? if you payed through paypal, i'd dispute it

Hahaha, owned =)! they usualy bann you after charging from membership, i realised that too.

 

yeah, i know. but they can't charge you for membership then ban you right away without letting you play. its illegal because they are charging you for a service that they won't let you receive, that being the opportunity to play Runescape as a member.. correct?

if so, i will make a mmorpg and charge everyone 5 for membership then ban them so they cant use their account anyway. thats a fuckton of money in my pocket and a bunch of hurt feelings in yours.

 

The thing is, the game gains nothing by banning you. You broke their agreement by breaking the rules and are therefore eligible for instant banning, regardless of subscription.

 

Yeah they fucking owned me lol. I was using soulwars bot. Second account banned this week . It seems they are cracking down a bit. The first account got banned the second I opened up my bot.

 

but realistically they have no proof that you were botting or breaking the rules aside from a log of suspicious mouse clicks, play time, and mouse movement. unless they have pictures or have any actual proof you were breaking the rules, its still illegal.. does that make sense?

 

They do have proof. It would be impossible for a human being, unless he were botting or sharing accounts, to play 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for 2 weeks straight doing one thing over and over with no interaction and little/no breaks.
