Put Photo Directly into Post?

I cant figure out how to paste a photo directly into my post...not just put the link in...please help thanks

 

If you've already uploaded a picture and want it to appear on your thread, put tags on them. For example:

[QUOTE][ IMG] Insert image link here [/QUOTE] Do that without the space on the first

 

Well I was wondering if there was a way to just attach it from my computer and not have to put in a link from flickr or photobucket, but if that cant happen, when I try to use the "Insert Link" tool it says my photobucket link is invalid :s

 

When you attach an image to your post, find the little paperclip icon (on advanced post editing) and click your image.

It will give you code which embeds that image into your post.

 

Upload your photo, say to tinypic (http://tinypic.com) then get the direct link of that picture, and wrap it in

 

I'm going to explain from Having a picture on your computer to displaying it on this page -

First, have your pictured saved in a known location. Now go to a popular image-uploading site, I will use TinyPic: Http://www.tinypic.com

Then when on the page, click: Choose File
Locate your image;

One selected, it'll return you to the page, click Upload.
Type in the verification, you'll now see this page:


Then Copy and paste the one with the star next to it on to the forums, or get the direct link and type:

Code:

[IMG]*[/IMG]

Around the link (* = Link)

and voila
