Do you think I have a chance?

Ok so the other day a girl that I've liked for a while broke up with her boyfriend after they had been going out for like 10 months. The next day she text me asking if I wanted to come over to her house, but sadly I didn't even check my phone until the next day. I text her saying that I was sorry etc, and told her I will come over next weekend if she wants. Do you think I have a chance of hooking up with her? I know it's pretty sudden, but maybe we could turn it into something? Also do you guys have any tips for me? Thanks!

 

You could definetly have something with her, especially because she's coming to you. It sucks sooooo bad you didn't check your phone; but alas, there's still hope. Did she say yes/no to you coming over next weekend?

 

Well, I'm sure if shes a nice girl she will give you another chance and theres always a chance with every girl - you just have to play it right. Go other to her house, talk for a bit you know, hack onto her facebook and put onto her status something really stupid that she wouldn't do - then just say, ''Can I have a hug''? or compliment her and it might happen from there, you never know and good luck.

 

Yea, I was so pissed when I checked my phone the next day. She said yes to me coming over next weekend, but I hope It's not too late to try start something out of it. :/

Of course you have a chance with her, be positive. Just talk to her as often as you can. Try to be supportive through her breakup, and just be there for her. She'd have to like you if you do that. You might want to wait a little bit before officially asking her out;it could be too soon for her.

Hmm. I think Deacon might be correct. If she breaks up with a guy one day then texts you the next I would be cautious about getting into anything right away. I know it's hard since you like her but I would suggest just waiting a while to see if she genuinely likes you.

It's not going to turn into anything special, your just her rebound boy; that she can play with while her boyfriend is off doing whatever he's doing that's pissing her off so much. They'll most likely get back together, so if I was you I'd make a move pretty fast; longer you wait, shorter time you have to do anything with her. If you take forever, she'll just find another random guy that she has added on facebook.

 

You're her rebound son. All you are is a way to piss off whoever her last boyfriend was, I'm sorry but don't delude yourself into thinking a meaningful relationship can develop from a rebound get together.
