using SCAR for another game

I'm hoping to use SCAR for another browser game to automate mundane tasks. It would ideally spawn on its own at designated intervals, in a consistent barebones frame much like SMART. I looked into the code to see how SMART launches a web address in its small frame, but I reached a dead end when I couldn't find the SmartSetup function called by SmartSetupEx in smart.scar.

The reason I want the website to open in a bare window is to keep coordinates independent of, for example, which toolbars are enabled in firefox or internet explorer. Obviously if I base my coordinates off the top left, they will be thrown off by a toolbar set up that differs from mine.

I figure I could somehow use the SMART frame to call a different website, but I would need to somehow expand the size of the window. Or I could somehow program my own function to open the website in a barebones window of my own design, but I'm not savvy enough to do that easily.

Any thoughts on how best to do this?

I should add, since posting I have found the openwebpage() procedure. Unfortunately it does not launch as the target window, so after launching it the SRL functions that move the mouse do not work. I need the website to launch in a window that is already set as the target so I can automate while I'm away. Additionally, openwebpage() launches with the default browser, which means that toolbars and custom setups remain a problem for consistent coordinates.

 

SMART only loads Runescape, as it is made for that. OpenWebPage() will open a browser(like you said). The only embedded webbrowser is APPA, which is a plugin(just like SMART) and it can be found at SRL-Forums(villavu.com).
