Sythe Vouch System / Similar to DP's iTrader

A rather fanastic PHP modification I'd love Sythe to put in would be something similar to the DigitalPoint's iTrader system. But modified to be a "Sythe Vouch System" which basically requires two users have a transaction between each other, and must provide evidence, either screenshots or vids. Then the evidence would be reviewed by whoever moderates the system.

(for people who don't know what Digital Point is, it is basically a place where webmasters and programmers hang out to sell stuff, and in turn they get iTrader points as evidence of a completed transaction, they can leave postitive and negative feedback too).

I cannot rave enough on how useful this system would be, it'd eliminate fake vouches (if the modification had a IP detector built in), it'd make vouches more trustworthy due to the fact a moderator can approve/disapprove any vouch as seen fit.

It'd also make MM applications easier, I mean I suppose you could make it when you have enough vouches with the Sythe Vouch System you then have *permission* (not just verbal) to make a thread and become a official MM).

This has been suggested many times before and continually denied. The vouch system works just fine.

 

I think its fine how it is, Hundreds of trades happen on sythe and having a Mod watch every single one of them befor you can get the voucher would be to much effort...

 

I suppose if you were going to be very vague about the definitions of "No Rep/Thanks System" this suggestion would be included in that list, however I read the do not suggest list before I posted this. Also, the list has exclusively only said no to the reputation and thanks system because there is no "s" on the end (meaning plural).

And if that were to apply to this they'd write "no reputation/thanks type systems".

As clearly seen in my post count and registration date as seen on my miniprofile. It doesn't seem like I have been there to see this "suggested many times before"

Hundreds of topics happen, and hundreds of scam reports happen on sythe, and is it pointless to have a mod watch every single of them? I'm throughing around the idea of the mod verification system if the my suggestion happens, otherwise there could be a more efficient way of creating the same effect.

 

scamming should be reduced soon due to the new irc network. So there really isnt any need for this. + its been denied plenty.
