How do you pk? F2P or P2P

How do you pk? I have seen many people use a multitude of weapons, and others pretty much use one weapon.

Do you like the trusty old Dragon or Rune scimitar? Do you mix it up with an Obby maul occasionally?

Do you use potions to give yourself that extra edge?

F2p, range + rune scim + 2h.
Works well if you dont mind risking that in f2p.

 

I have a maxed F2P account, I use rune scim to get them down to about 30-40 hp, then range+2h for the k0. Works wonders, though F2P isn't complex by any means.

 

i think ftp pking takes more skill. there are still extremely lethal weapons, while the food is really terrible

 

Mage bank. I Prod with yak + divine + whip in +1 and yak+ rune def/spirit shield + whip in pvp worlds. only 7m risk or so, whip + gear. my only spec wep ever in mb has been dds because mb pkers rocktail brew claws specs and i got dced at mb for claws once. Usually ahrims + a rune switch. I also rag with divine if im broke with range+ blitzes to kill epers and other noobs. Ditch divine for arcane on targs almost 90% of the time. or its hard to get anybody to fight, they either safe it or run. used to use torso + vesta skirt but im broke lately and also I hate getting torsos so just use rune lol.

East Drags however is a whole diff game, i use mystic + claws or ags. D bolts e, rune, obby shield whip never get divine/ never get arcane. dont even bother going to easts without a tber.

I turtle at easts a crapload. Basically how i made bank after i got dced for bandos+ dfs. I get ep with yak, and then, unlike other yak prods DISMISS the yak. yes, i risk whip this way but its only 4m i mean come on. people turtling with d scim and claws just fail tbh. Veng rush obviously.

Stopped edge pking but its undpubtedly the fastest cash in pking simply because of the sheer number of fights per hour that you can have and only 400k sets. I dont mind a bit if i die because its dp and the sets are so cheap. Climbers, rune, neit, str ammy, team cape or none, rune gloves, vengs. Ags 99% of time. I use corr vls that i pk. hate stat hammer. whip + dds rarely. I veng take off gear and 2 spec prod. Yes its a fucked up way to pk but it works i woudnt have had my divine if it wasnt for this.

Used to be silver star jaja legacy, left for a real clan, joined RoT. We won pretty much every time. But tbh RoT fights are boring. i used to have 150+ sets at anytime. died returned died returned till we won. gets old fast. Joined RoTs yak brid unit, most fun pking I ever had.

Pretty much made my first hundred mills pking with jaja in rag offensive gear + a godsword/ nolife tricking/ dds dming. I dont think i ever got above 80 ep in 6 months lol.

Note: never pked with arcane risk. We all arent as rich as pottis.

 

Stick to the older styles, r scimmy + 2h F2P, and dds + whip in mems.

 

P2P

I have a few set ups but include similar weapons.

1 on 1
Hunter c'bow + R c'bow w/ drag/onyx bolts + dds/g maul

Msb + R c'bow w/ drag/onyx bolts + dds

Multi
R c'bow w/ drag/onyx bolts + dds + blitz/barrage

Msb + dds + blitz/barrage

Hunter c'bow + dds + blitz/barrage

 

I believe f2p pking is alot more skill really, p2p is just spec and tele/run/stain your boxers.

I use rune scim with monks robes then switch to rune 2h when theyre low hp, old method but still good and fun

 

I used to have f2p pkers, either sold most or got them banned. That was quite a bit of fun...

As of right now I'm trying to tank it in p2p, it's a struggle.

 

I usually do f2p range/2h pking. It's really fun and half the time I get kills.

Hybrid
Helm - berserker helm
necklece - glory/str amy, either one works
top - mystic top
bottom - mystic bottom
shield - unholy book
weapon - ancient staff
boots - climb boots
gloves - barrows gloves

i usually do a 1st switch to rune cbow, blk dhide body, rune skirt/legs and diamond or dragon bolts. if they pray ill bust out d scim and melee, i sometimes take rune pl8. ill do dds for k0 obviously, and ill just brid them till either of us run or i get the k0

 

I stick to f2p. Either range / 2h or scim / 2h.

I like to keep it simple :\

But this is as I just started pking, since they removed the wildy. When I get more comfortable, I may start P2p. We'll see.

 

If you cant afford divine/ely just rag gear multi with dfs + range or dfs+dds. Sets dont cost shit and you get tons of kills.
