Warcraftloot scam?

They offered me 250 for my Hunter via WU.

I searched them and got a forum with a thread with full of leechers and some people said it was scams some didn't.. Most were the scams were just the account being recovered but that happens when you sell to WoW sites because the OO can recover it back.

The thing is that makes it look like a scam is that they have no phone number and when ever I log on to Live Chat, it's never online.

Also when I fill out my account info and the next page that they bring up asks you for all the info of the account..

Pretty sure it's a scam but if anyone had any experiences with them can you tell me.


Been trying to sell this account all fucking summer.

Also do you know any LEGIT sites that buys accounts via WU.

EDIT : Also I submitted two Inquiry for my account. One I asked for 250$ and they email me saying they'll pay 250. The other for 1,000 for teh luls and they sent the email saying 306. I think it's all automated and scam.

 

You can try playerauctions. I'm not sure if they do WU but if you decide to sell on there you will get your money's worth.

 

I've never heard of them before, but by what you have stated I believe it's a scam. Just because it has some relevance to World of Warcraft for their URL doesn't make them legit. Best of luck selling, however.

I've heard a few positive things from playerauctions, so I would suggest attempting to sell your account there. If you decide to do so, or make an attempt, please provide your experience here.

Yeah I'm going to try it out. Hopefully it works outs. I'm so lazy when it comes to selling my accounts. I've been trying to sell my hunter all summer.

I've heard from a lot of people Accounts.com is legit, they offer you an automated price at first that is around your offer and after that you can ask in Live Chat for the actual offer. I have $70 offered on my account atm, the only problem is they offer really low prices...

 

Do they use WU?

 

Just throwing it out there, but mmobay.net worked fine for me. It's like an auction house where they charge you a few dollars per account sold/traded. It doesn't "officially" take WU, but I've seen people use the site as an advertisement and then trade using other means.

 

I am quite sure I know someone who got scammed by it. Ive never also heard of it when people suggest good websites to sell too so I would presume it is a scam.

 

They pay out via Paypal, I've never asked about WU.

Just don't sell to anybody who you haven't heard a reputable or trustable person vouch for, simple.

 

Actually just sold an account on playerauctions. Was really easy althought they payout through paypal. Sold for $130.00 I got $112.46 or something round that. They take some for being a trusted middle man I am guessing?
