99 Range help

Well I've finally decided to quit screwing around and get 99 range I figured I would chin it as it is really fast but I was wondering about how many I would need and how long it would take.

Lets say from lvl 94 - 99 red chinning it, about how many red chins would I need?

 

you should need about 30k chins for that depending on how lucky you get with hits.

I know when I chinned I only got an ave of 175 xp per chin.

 

Wait for the next 2x xp weeekdend, you'll get 4m experience in 4 hours, thats what I did for 94-99. If not, you'll get roughly 250xp/chin at your level.

 

I the double xp weekend I went 87 - 96, as Anthony said you should just wait for the next double xp weekend and you'll save a lot of time and cash.

 

wow wats wrong with you, i got liek av 400-500xp with grey chins.
Ot: for reds u shud need about 15kish or so.

 

You should be able to get it during 2x exp weekend at about 180 exp per chin

180xp/chin is terrible even with out exp weekend. You'll only get 180 xp on double xp weekend if you're attacking one monkey at a time or if you're like level 50.

You mean to tell me you hit an average of 130-140lp on each monkey?
Basically you maxed out damage every single time on every single monkey?

 

If you know how to position the zombie monkey things so that you would be hitting around 7-9 every time, you can average about 250k range exp an hour at 94 range. On average, using the second fastest chin throwing style, you can throw around 1000-1200 chins each hour.

If you look at your exp counter, try to average around 300-500 exp per chin throw. The exp includes both the range and hp exp u get but it's still a good indicator to what you should be aiming at.

 

Alright - thanks guys and I would wait but who knows how long it will be until the next one. I don't feel like waiting a few months for this 99 In the mean time I will be Soul Warsing a bit to save money

haha i actually chinned 94-99 as well it took me only 25k chins (and if i remember right i had to buy 3k more)

granted i had full armadyl 70 pray, and had a very nice pray/range bonus ratio.
