Got 3 Def On MAXED G2H Pure, What to do?

So basically I was out owning kids rsword-g2h-ing as usual and I brought along a antidragon shield (this is part of my usual pvp world outfit including iron med, monk bottoms and bronze plate). I call it 'f2p ghetto bridding' since i switch power/str ammy +antidrag on g2h to rsword.

When you switch to a weapon that has only 3 attack styles it goes directly to defense mode(in this case i clicked antidrag first) I had actually anticipated this but in the heat of an intense battle with another 99str pure i clicked antidrag first.


My new plan is to quest defense on it (up to 30) and pk in higher combat (mid-high 70s). This will allow me to in the future use it as a perfect zerk starter.

Post suggestions/ideas/questions. 17 Prayer was an accident from dungoneering, will get 31/34 in the future but QUESTED. 64 Dung took me a week of hardcore but I was an extremely fast learner.

Feel free to flame me on low hp level+low skill stats.

 

3 def isn't even a big deal, leave it the way it is. You'll thank me later.

I got 3 def on my old gmauler I sold. Got me 1 cmb, I was bummed but its not a big deal

I got my pure to 45 defense (Quested of course) who has barrow gloves, and an AGS yet I still liked the 1 defense better.

 

well, while everyones saying you shouldn't, if you DO want to quest defence up i suggest becoming an 'addy daddy' they are amazing pkers and i think if trained right [pretty much like.. 13 - 31 prayer] then they can be 35 def [req for b gloves from quests] and be able to fight people that aren't maxed e.g. zerkers.

Every one above me seems to think that you shouldn't quest it up but I would disagree. If you quest it up to 45 defense you can get other things like barrows gloves and vengeance. You can also get turmoil if you get the cash for 95 prayer. If you do it correctly I think 45 defense will be much more enjoyable.

 

Why do all the pure owners freak out about 2-3 def? Look at all the pures that have 3 def and DESTROY their opponents. It's not that big of a deal. OH NO you have 2 def levels of an advantage! PANIC

It's not that I'm freaking out it's just I have ALOT of 1 def pures and its been a while (4 years) since I've had anything with def. I've been planning either a 60 attack zerk or 60 attack piety pure but dread the thought of getting 99 str again.

But for now i'll stay 3 def. Drops in f2p are absolutely trash however since i'm always on 0ep.

 

Go p2p and stay 3 def, you'll find it's alot more fun as long as you don't get rushed.

 

dont cry over 3 def i got 2 on my nearly maxed pure and i got it in 2006 from msb to dds spec glitch its not a big deal mahatma has 17 def and spiili had 7 or 9 defence (4 in most of his vids)

 

Sorry for the obvious question but why questing it rather than training it?

 

So in the future I can use it as a perfect initiate/turmoil/zerker etc..
If you just straight up train to 40+ defence without doing the appropriate quests then you won't have access to certain critical equiptment without gaining def levels.

 

Quit bitching and keep your 3 defence, everyone whines about how they got 2 or 3 defence. Just keep it, it isn't going to change anything.

 

dont ruin your amazing account with 30 defense, 3 defense is not a huge deal like you seem to be making it

Go for 45def, 3 is already ruined... Doesn't matter if it had no impact on cmb, it still looks lame.
