Summoning for pures?

Hi i was wondering if summoning for pures decreases their sale value?
i have a lvl 73 cb pure 60 attack 88 strength 1 defence 44 prayer 78 range and 80 hitpoints and 55 magic and total level 1003

In the future i would sell this account but if i get summon on it like 60 and leave it, would it be lower priced and what are cons and pros of summoning

 

I dont think it would de-value your account because in the wildy it counts as 50+2 for example getting 57 summon might increase your value im not sure though.

 

Having summoning on a pure is sometimes considered worthless, but it depends on what you use the pure for. Summoning can be great if you use the pure for non-PVP, (aka skilling) since it helps out a lot. For example, getting a War Tortoise if you're killing Chaos Druids for herbs is a big benefit.

However, a lot of pures try to keep "independent" skills low. This means that they try to keep as many skills that except combat skills either close to 1 or to 80+. Basically, this means if you level a skill, plan on leveling it high. Otherwise, for some reason, people would rather buy an account with the same combat stats but with low other skills. Summoning, though, like Jimmaayy said, is very valuable after level 57, since this opens up Spirit Graahk and Nature Rune crafting. So, I'd say that Summoning ONLY to 57 would probably increase the value, and then from 58 to 80 would make the account look "flawed" in some way.

 

Don't do it. If your a real pure you don't want to verse higher levels...

 

Summoning on a pure would only make it worth more.
Summon isn't a burden, it actually helps when you use it for skills and whatnot... It just makes your cmb look a little higher than it really is, but in PVP area it'll say your real cmb + summon cmb anyway.. so it doesn't matter there.

 

tard. you can choose wether or not to fight higher levels in pvp just by NOT taking pouchs or familiars into wild. research before you make a rash comment.

i say go for it. get as high a summoning level as you can. titans are good for training, unicorn would be amazing for pures and training/slayer, and if you ever got 99.. steel titan is a range based monster, with a tasty def bonus [which will also help you out i believe] and im sure everyones seen a vid of the steel titan in action, you know how much it hurts.

i say go for it, what do you have to lose besides a few mill? thats pretty much all that summoning is.

 

Not many pure's have it although it would probably raise the price of your account. It wouldn't really hurt you in any way since if you don't use a familiar your combat level stays the same. I would get it up if I were you.

 

I'm old school, thus I don't like summoning on a pure. Yet, I wouldn't even think of paying less for it as it doesn't affect the combat level when pk'ing; but I wouldn't think of paying more for it either. If there was a similar account without the summoning, I would go for that though.

im still stuck got like 3 days membership but enough to get 50ish summoning but my main question is if i wanna sell after, would price go down. Sorry still not sure :/ and what do u rekon the price of this acc is if i got 6m atm

Price will depend on alot, such as if the attack has been quested to 60 or not, if it has adamant gloves yet, if the main pure quests such as DT are completed, ... Summoning will not lower your price at all if you're still in doubt, but it will not give you any added value either.

 

Its great because if you get a noob targ who go's into multi (hollow tree) and he has some noob friends and they have low summon or no summon. Just pouch up and bring some friends to help you drop targ and his friends. Its also great if you don't want to have to right click on a targ and such.

Other than pvp its great for skilling like runecrafting, fishing, mining and combat. I always use a BoB for killing drags.

 

Probably raise the price, most pures these days have summoning just to help out with skilling, most don't use it in wild, unless they have a titan of some sort. I say get it up.

 

if you had a nice summoning level the price would give added value. 52 summoning is of value to a pure, as is 57, thats when summoning REALLY adds value to a pure.

 

Get summoning because it won't affect your combat in PVP.
Get 70 atleast, looks nice and can use a War tortoise.

 

If you get summ on your pure be sure to get loads of charms. Dont raise it if you cant get it over 60.

yeh summoning to me would increase the value tbh

 

you should really only go hard on that summoning if you've got the charms for atleast 52 - 57. thats where summoning really starts getting decent and useful to pures. i'd like to get 57 summ on my pure but hey. we can all dream :]

im personally saving up charmerino's till i can go straight for 57. from there, im mass producing those nature runes [not that they make major profit but hey. gotta do SOMETHING legit amirite? haha]
