Bring Back The GP Donor Ranks...

After Looking Around The Forum's Which I Do Everyday.
I Saw Somone With A 20M GP Donor In There Name... So I PMed Spiyke Asking Him If Its Still Avalible.. But He Said It Wasnt..

So I Thought Maybe Brining Back The GP Donor Ranks... They Are Cool And Im Sure Alot Of People Would Donate Including Me...

I think the admins don't want runescape currency anymore. Just sell your mills for dollars and donate those.

 

I think it was used back then because matthew actually played RS back then so he took mils as a donar way... + there was no trade limit so it was very simple and fast.

now none of the important ppl play so i guess its not appealing to them anymore...

It's legacy ranks. It's just shows how long ago you donated basically. You can't get the current ranks I have now because it's a legacy rank as well.

That's not really how it happened.

Short history lesson.
A former global, Thorpe, opened up an official Sythe gold selling shop, SytheMills, and he sold GP that was donated through Sythe to people who wanted to be safe. Sadly, the shop was madly overpriced, from memory about $7-8. It didn't work out too well, and after a while was shut down. That's why people have GP ranks, they donated GP to the shop which was then sold to buyers. And they stopped GP donations when it was closed.

Not really. People who had the old GP ranks were transferred to $$ donators, barring a few. It really has no bearing on how long ago you actually donated, however if you have a GP rank it means you donated in '07.

 

I believe people who donated in GP should be allowed to keep it as a legacy rank, just like the recent rank updates.

I think if we say donate 100 we should be able to at least get the 25M donator if we want.

 

It wouldn't workout, because the hassle of just transfering the mills. Also back then, 1m was worth a lot more than 1m now, and as other people said, they're legacy ranks.

 

I say we just leave the Mill ranks as past memories. It's not worth the hassle of trying to fix it up or allowing RSGP donations again.
