I could swear you implied you knew more about the Virgin Mary than the Pope, on the basis that he follows the wrong branch of Christianity. Did I misinterpret that?

What if God doesn't exist? You said that there is no evidence that God does / doesn't exist, and now you claiming that Pope doesn't follow the right branch of christianity?

 

He is protestant we believe that the pope is following the wrong branch of Christianity. Such as (Jehovah's)

the bible ( my version atleast ) never mentions hell. it mentions Heena, which according to what Jesus said in i think Exodus, correct me if im wrong, Heena is a emptyness of nothing, meaning when a person dies he " goes to nothing " put it that way. There is no life after death, there will be soon (according to my beliefs, the kingdom of god) but for now, you die and absolutely nothing happens, u just fall into a deep deep sleep.

"humanity is in control by the Evil One"

now who's the evil one? according to the catholic encyclopedia, "evil one" is a reference to Satan... again lets plug that in

now why do babies, or anybody else in the world die?

If Satan is in control of mankind and God loves us, and he is omnipotent, then why doesn't he save us?

Enforcing your own beliefs on others won't do you any good. Just because you are convinced that something is right, does not make others inclined to believe so, nor does it give you the right to tell us to "not question God". He may be real, he may not be. Also, isn't the Bible the work of humans?

That's like saying because someone's father was involved in a bank robbery the children of that man should be punished also?

But they did nothing wrong, but apparently being the children of a bank robber is enough to put them in jail.

I'm not trying to convince people out of your religion, I respect that you believe in it, but actually try this. Put all your beliefs aside, and look at your religion. Does it even make any SENSE?

 

1. god created every person to be free of choosing what they wish to do. i can go jump off a bridge right now and god nor satan would stop stop me. So adam sinned because "he chose to sin" ... i guess u can put it that way

2. Adam was created perfect, not immortal.... i don't care how perfect you are, you can still die if ur not immortal

3. Because of Adam we all sin. By adam sinning and his wife Eve sinning they broke perfection, right? than how can two imperfect people make one perfect person? They can,t. Its like high blood pressure, if both of your parents have high blood pressure, you are almost guaranteed to inherit it.

who here said we are in control of Satan? clearly you did not read my last post, Satan is in control of Us. God dosen't step in because clearly Satan and other thousands of angles doubted his power and were punished. And Satan clearly stated he was a better leader than God, so instead of saying no and a slap in the hand to Satan, god tossed him into Earth to prove that " Man cannot manage Man". And i dont know about any of you, but i am damn right convinced. Soon all this suffering will end, at the right time, which none of us will ever guess or know until it shows up

Enforcing, no, convincing, maybe.... and it is completely normal for ANYONE to doubt the existence of god. I have, my parents have, my family has, and we are all extremely reiligious. Its just a matter of fact of looking into your own question to find the answer, i have, i am convince that i am correct, you might not be convinced that i am correct tho. Like i said in one of my points, we all choose whatever the hell we want.

 

1. If God is full of Love and care, why does (s)He let children die? I would understand if God punished only people who've done something wrong, but let's say that the child dies before getting born, what the reason behind that?

One of the things I have come across on many occasions when I was studying religion is the idea that humans can't comprehend or presume to know why "God" does what he does. Finn's link has a great explanation as to why babies die, free will. The mother drinks and smokes and does things to harm the baby, it dies. Some pharmaceutical company releases a drug for males, which ends up causing some malformation in the fetus, baby dies.

I believe that all this; the planet, the solar system, the universe, was created by something, which happens to be called God.

4. Again, if God is loving, why does (s)he require us to complete a "test" before proceeding to heaven / hell? After all, we could end up getting in Hell. Why does God let this happen?

If God has a test for me, I would gladly complete it the best I can. I wouldn't call it a test to get into heaven though. You should just live your life a certain way and you are granted entry into heaven. If you fail this "test", I guess you have failed in life. God didn't make you fail, you chose to fail.

People should really study the bible a bit or maybe take some religion classes. Some of the responses to this post made me cringe a little inside and the complete ignorance, and no offense but the OP is suspect in this post to begin with.
