I believe Finn's made an incorrect decision..

(I'm in no way trying to advertise this pardon, I don't even know the OP - I'm also not trying to 'slander' Finn or tarnish his reputation in anyway)

I would have pardoned him...up until that point.

He's done a lot for the site. And pardons are to be given at an admin's discretion.

 

His vades don't cause any harm to the community. Actually, they are beneficial to the community, once you find one read the post he makes and think "He is really a bad guy"?

 

Normally I would agree, but Atomic is a special case.. He's really really cool.

 

I'm glad he was pardoned. He vades all the time and still contributes to the forum.

 

I believe in second chances. I was given one myself. True, Atomic sent out phishing emails but that was a long time ago, and I'm certain he does not do stuff like that anymore.

As to your reference. I think he was just trying to say he's harmless, in a very unusual way.

 

Phising is pretty serious, and usually who gets caught for it doesn't ever come back. Nonetheless, I support Finn's decisions, he's a great guy.

An admin can pardon for anything. Whilst you mightn't agree with it, you or anyone else below administration cannot do anything about it.

 

He's shown clearly that he's a reformed character. Also, please keep in mind that this happened three years ago.

 

Yes I realize i'm powerless, thanks for the reinforcement. I'm not trying to get the decision overturned, as I couldn't care less; i'm simply voicing my opinion.

"He vades all the time", how many people do you know that "vade all the time" that when someone catches them there set free? You're treating this a special case, which is how things begin to weaken. Basically "None of you can evade a ban, however you can; because you're really really cool" (as .Karl put it)...

And thanks Verts, I wasn't aware of the 3 year factor...that can say he's had time to change and strengthen his ethics.

 

He would still get banned, sometimes right away, and sometimes it would take a bit. There was really nothing special about it.

 

By being special he bans unbanning a vader/hacker I'd love to see my friend get unbanned but he got denied by sin. Before this pardon even existed

He makes the name 'It's Atomic, Atomic here" Etc, etc.

 

The name of the vading account is completely irrelevant. What are you going to do, thank him for making it easier to catch? If he belonged here, his original account would be unbanned.

 

you mentioned this case was treated specially and SuF disagrees. I said by special you mean by finn unbanning a vader/hacker and i mentioned i would love to see my friend unbanned he got hacked and someone scammed on the account but it clearly wasn't him because he had very low interest in selling/buying stuff on sythe. He wouldn't get unbanned likely on the grounds of he is responsible for his sythe.org account.

 

Right, and people were many times to lazy to ban him right away so he got to stay for a couple hours. Then he got banned, again. He never did anything malicious.

 

Point being he did multiple offenses and even with his wrongful behavior and constant breaking of the rules he still gets unbanned. I don't really care if he is unbanned or not but you should then reconsider the banning of people who did nothing malicious on their sythe account til they claimed of gotten ''Hacked''

Edit: I'm not saying everyone who claimed to of gotten hacked is telling the truth but they could of been a good person who just got unlucky and now face a ban. Then they never came back or vaded but still got their dispute denied.
