it's good in theory, but the only problem I could see is being that high of a combat level you won't be able to hit much on other people with such a low attack.

Sure they won't be able to hit you, and you'll be able to hit high with like a corrupt VLS, but you'll hit a ton of 0s

 

OR just stay 1 def, get 50 attack, 99 strength, and 94 mage/90 range? Probably a better account anyways, but whatever you fancy.

i disagree, i think that it'd put up a good fight in no arms.. and if you were to be p2p, wear a set of rune with a frying pan [tehe] and have cvls for ko, ive seen devastating results with that combo. call yourself a cvls tank, because thats what you are.

i say go for it, easy to bot and easy to make cash with a lol def level.

 

You're never going to hit through anyone wearing addy+ with 40 att. Corrupt weps would work, but they won't be of much use since you'll have like 15 0s then a 30 and 15 more 0s.

 

40 Attack seem kinda iffy

Like a few others said it would work well in theory but you would need decent hp and if you got 50+ hp your combat level would be high enough that your opponents would have good defense so your attacks would miss way to often.

40 attack, 40 def, 99 str. = legit.

 

If you're looking to tank PK, sure... But if you come up against a pure with similar stats (99 att, 99 str, 40 def) you'd get owned. Defence is good, but it's no match for 99 attack. :\

For p2p this is close to a 'gmaul-maxed-tanker'. Aka 50 99 99 with 99 range.
Your melee wouldn't increase your combat and you'd have acess to corrupt weaponry+gmaul spec. It does work well especially on maxed pures/zerkers but on just about everything else the melee really becomes a useless gimmick.

For f2p this is probably the most horrendous idea ever. Even in no arm fights (where some people bring either a helm or green chaps+vambs) 40 attack WILL NOT HIT WELL on anything higher than 70def. Mains will rip you to shreds. In Arm fighs this is probably an even worse idea as still there is no way you will hit on 70+def and full rune using your rune scimmy+40 attack.
