Recovering old accounts?

Does anyone have a guide to recovering old accounts?

I've recently seen some amazing recoveries with accounts and money on them, but I don't understand how people can get accounts when they don't even know the real past passwords.

 

get lucky I got gimli by just guessing and I recovered him

 

If you remember the IP it was created on, that's pretty much an instant recovery (assuming there aren't recovery questions on the account).

If not, you need to remember some of the information.

 

Recovering is not allowed here, I believe.

 

From what I understand, it's his old account..?

 

This is an old account that I gave to my friend that since then quit.

I've got the creation IP, and 1-2 passwords ( not first ) but other then that, the account has a CRAPLOAD of failsafes.

Take a wild guess, and in the additional info box, tell them the IP.

OT: Just keep trying, try and remember when it was created, i heard it helps alot if you know when.
Also if you have the creation IP, i guess you also have the internet provider, so remember to put that in

 

try guess recoveries and in the box at bottom fill it with crap saying where u trained the account and random stuff and say u want to try out dungeonerring and say check my ip i used EXAMPE AOL DIAL UP then got aol broadband etc etc

From what i understand he said old accounts, not account. I don't think it's legal.
