Western Union question.

I'm 15, would I be able to receive the money if I show a school i.d. since I don't have a state id?

Yes. As long as you provide proof that you're the person that the money belongs to, you should be able to receive the money.

 

alright I just read some stuff that says you have to be at least 17 years old but other other things say age doesn't matter. or does it vary by state or something?

 

As long as you can provide proof that you're the rightful owner of the money that you're going to receive, then you should have no problem claiming it.

well im just going to be receiving, so if they say "Sir you have to be 18 years of age to use western union and claim your money" what am I suppose to say lol.

 

Why can't you go with a parent? Also, just say the money is legally yours and if necessary you will come back with your guardian.
