Thread approvals

It's a fairly obvious idea so forgive me if it's been suggested before, but is thread approval (by mods) a possibility, in the Market sections at least? It'd guarantee that ALL listings have ALL required information, the titles are not misleading, etc etc. Because many idiots forget these things. And once somebody is deemed to not be an idiot (certain post count or something), it could be disabled automatically.

Annoying, yes, but I think it's a necessary action. This site is well known for its abundance of monkey-brained fools.

I know this wouldn't be hard to implement - if it isn't a feature of vBulletin by default (it's been a few years) then there'll obviously be a mod for it at vb.org.

You do realize Mods have lifes right? No way this could ever happen.

 

Mods do not have the time to approve possibly hundreds of threads a day.

Im sick of people making stupid suggestions, but i have to live with it.

The forum is fine the way it is, sythe and many other staff members have worked hard to make it function the way it does.

 

Good lord, this would take FOREVER and would push users away to use sites that allow their posts to appear instantly.

 

And I respect them for it, but at times it doesn't function all that well.
