So I fish alot at the same world in fishing guild. It's usually PACKED.



So I get on today. 4 people are fishing... Went to powerbot. Oh they're down.


Lol'd @ how many botters there are.

 

Yeah kinda funny when it happens i would like to know the exact % of legit n bot players.

Theres currently 180 000 players online!

45% are botting.
20% chineese goldfarmer.
35% legit players.

 

It's amazing at how many players actually bot. I occasionally fish, but it's ALWAYS packed. I'm glad JaGeX is busting the ban-hammer out.

 

It's actually more likely that the bots are down rather than that Jagex has upped their game.

 

Yeah, if bots are down, the populations vanishes from common areas.

Have you guys seen chins when bots are down? It's priceless.

Same with everything really, Most obviouse are chickens normaly fully packed after an update, no one is there. Lol.

I wonder how many % Of people on RS bot?

 

Or just look at Rune essence mining area just before the update....all those bots just standing there like WTF... lol

 

This is pretty funny and sad as well, I had no idea so many people were botting.

I didn't think that many people still used powerbot.

 

Well you could get rough estimation, look at how many people on every day at a certain peak hour time. say 10pm. Then note that down, lets say average for Sun-Wensday is 100,000 people. Then lets say bot updates (major) update on thursday at same time it goes down to 85,000. Do this for a month or two when you yourself notice not many players are on due to bot updates. Then try to get an average. So week 1: 20K player drop, week 2:10K player drop...etc

Look at average player drop @ that time in a non-update week to be 1-3K varible. Take that away from the average and you could get an ok estimation of botters on Runescape.

 

Definitely a large amount of Runescape users bot, I find it quite amusing finding bots stuck after the new update.

 

After new update many bot's were stuck @ the new Ditch tho, the GDK bot's it's funny to see

 

Yeah, I saw a thread earlier on with a video of a JMOD banning a level 138 botter caught in the update.

 

Sad. Jagex needs a better banhammer.

 

Lol. Well think about it. Fishing is a pointless skill which there are so many bots for. Why would any one waste their time on it?
