I am getting owned

first attempt at pking with him today and am getting owned.
first tried knives/dds and died twice
then tried dragon scimmy and dds and got a kill out of luck(got 1m too )
then got owned again.

any suggestions? like where to pk because I tried 1 item bounty worlds and keep getting owned by claws.

also what to pk with?

if you're gonna pk with knives and dds go to the non +1 bh worlds. (124 and 137)
because the claw prods will just continue to drop you with their 11 pray and 99 str.

 

82 mage for a start. Hope you've done DT.
Suggest getting some money to buy claws. Rush with claws. Fun Fun Fun.

 

Raising your magic would be wise for blitz/barrage.

As Anchors said, claws would be a good choice in weaponry.

 

i have dt started just haven't finished it yet, too lazy.

I have a character with similar stats, 50 att 90 str and 89 range and 82 mage, I still struggle.

Also your not going to get every kill even some of the greatest pkers die alot more then you think... Its all about the way you pk, Higher mage would be recomended.

Practices pking, and your switches, and know when to eat and when not to.

 

I was going to suggest this, i was awful with the account i made, but am getting better now.

 

These are the rules of pking, knives + g maul or rune arrows mage short + dds. also use the f5 way for speccing so that your switch to dds will be smooth for direct killing. train on it at duel arena if needed. Also to not die, wear a phoenix necklace so you wont have to eat if you near dead. tips from my 4 years of pking. cheers

combos:

all combos are done with the f5 button for fast switch to weapon and spec.

knives + g maul/g mace (might trow a morrig direktly javelin after)
rune arrows mage short + dds (might trow a morrig javelin direktly after)

my rare combo for the pros, which i use. ( with blitz even better)

knives, then d bow with d arrows, then direktly switch to gmaul and instant spec and mayby trow a morr. javelin after it

thats 5 strong hits within 2 secs, no chance of living if done smoothly

First of all high prayer on pures FAIL hardcore i suggest to get defence up.

fuck me. 44 prayer isn't a high level, and it doesn't fail hardcore either, so take your rushing experience elsewhere fuckhead.

straight up, just practice more, i also suck at pking but i know all i have to do is practice, and also pking is luck based, stats only decide who has that much more luck [or not] so. a lot of people have bad luck with pking, just don't give up and eventually luck will come your way for a change.
