Old user title

I don't know if this has been suggested, but I think there should be a "rank" that recognizes old members of Sythe. I don't really know how long Sythe has been up, but I think old members should be recognized like a rank.

There is a join date on every post and in their profile.

 

Yeah there's no real need for this, join date is very clearly visible. I think at one point there was a "Veteran" rank that was done away with years ago.

 

Annex and Vision Ex have it as their usertitle.

Ah yeah. I seem to remember it as an actual rank with those spikey red/gray shield things from runescape, could be mistaken though.

I'd say atleast 4 years on sythe.

 

That's the whole problem with a rank for it, it's too subjective. You can't do it based solely on join date because there are plenty of accounts that were created in '05/'06 (or whatever is considered "old enough" to be a vet) that have never contributed anything or been active. It has to be left up to the admins to decide who deserves it, and it becomes just another meaningless rank that some people get and some don't.

Pointless?! :O How dare you Obviously Jansen should get a veteran rank if he wants, just no one else. ^_^

 

So, like a veteran rank? No, I don't think it's needed. People can just look at the join date. Also:
