Should I be worried about having a uni ip, due to the fact that scammers may have used the same ip?

 

If it's going to be in a university and we can prove that it, in fact is a university, we'll give you the benefit of the doubt and you shouldn't worry. If you're a good person and have no bad intentions, you should be okay.

 

You should notify the staff, and give them the IP that in fact belongs to the UNI. I'm sure they can do a background check to see whether you're lying or not. After that's done, you can use it as a reference in the case you get banned.

 

There are certain members of the staff who are IP experts and can tell what IPs come from what specific computers. If you do or do not scam, they will hopefully be able to tell.
