    Continous Virus... winhelp.exe

I am sorry if this is the wrong section, I didn't see a tech help forum so please move it if it should be somewhere else, Thank you!

This just started showing up a little less than an hour ago.

Not sure what it is or what it could be....

(Please don't tell me AVG sucks, it works fine for my usage)

However, whenever I clean the vault or wipe the infection, it returns... And it just keeps adding up (as you could see in the picture) on the same .exe file.

How do I completely get rid of this?

I am not restoring by the way, that'd be dumb.

I might do a go-back-to date thing, forget what that's called... But before I do that I want to ask you guys for any other solutions!!

    Thank you so much.

I recommend a program called Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, It has helped me several times with virus problems. You can find a free version (which is still very good) at www.download.com

I can also vouch for Malwarebytes, it's a very strong program with a lot of features, and the Paid Version versus the Free Version isn't a huge difference, because it just has real time protection, and you can set up a date or time to scan or update. But when you install Malwarebytes, update it and then scan, if the virus keeps showing up, go into SafeMode and scan and remove.

AVG is great & free, but Avast! is even better and free aswell.

For malware protection, you should get malwarebytes indeed. Free aswell ^^

"go-back-to-date" is restoring. What you're referring to by saying "restoring" is formatting.

Download a program called autoruns. Run it, disable that .exe from starting on startup. Once that is done use Malware Bytes or the program of your choice to scan and remove it.

I have tried MalwareBytes with previous trojans... Unfortunately it did not work for my cause and I do not think it will work for this, as it is more severe.

    Thank you.

That's what I did and it worked, thank you!

Guys, get Avast! Sickest one out there, but gives it away when your not supposed to play, like when it says Avast Database is updating.
