The above post ended up being a mistake. He was (oddly enough) hacked coincidentally. I helped him through recovering it fully through PM (including providing my zip code, etc, instead of just the transaction number), and he got it back. Here's a ss of the PM. I blocked out my text because most of it contains recovery info.
