First legit language [ Read ]

Hey there,

Lately Ive been fooling around with some unimportant and stupid languages.. example: San Andreas multilayer coding... maplestory .wz editing.. and so on.

But I want to learn a language that people will actually pay me to code for them for... Like java... or html/php?

What Im asking for you is..
Tell me a language, that is moderatly hard/easy and people generally pay for. I am willing to learn non-stop for a long time.

There's so many languages out there that you can learn, anything can turn a profit.

Depends on what you want to make, and what kind of people you want to work for/the type of work you want to do.

There are dozens of different kinds of programmers. It's important to note that you won't make money off of it for a long time, so your best bet is to do whatever catches your interest.

Desktop programs, web developing, shell programming... etc.

 

Web design might be your best bet to make a profit quickly. However it does involve some artistic skill and graphics abilities, but it is by far the easiest. But you also need to be good at it to make any serious money.
