Just Got Banned On My Legit Account For Macroing.

I just got banned on my legit pure for macroing. Never botted on the account ever, and it just got banned. Just a little warning that ANY accounts could be banned at ANY time.

 

Why don't you just appeal it?

 

My macroing appeals are never accepted.

Wow, i heard there really trying to crack down on botters.

 

If you have never botted, you can just clearify that,

say something like.

What were you doing by the way recently. Maybe youve just been very active at one place without talking or whatever. Or maybe you were at soul wars and it wouldnt surprize me some legit players got banned there to concerning the events there lately.

But the appeal coud be justified depending on what you were actualy doing lately. There are cases that legit players can act in the same pattern a bot does. Like not talking, private chat off, doing the same thing for a long time.

Just tell us if thats right. And also what you did about a month ago and for how long.

Many times, it helps to whine and throw away suicidal options in your appeal. Its really no joke, they really do. Highly anounce that you get crazy or something due to the ban and some convincing phrases and you should be fine, exspecially since you were legit.

If your completely legit, the above quote is best to put in your appeal.

 

I've been training pray on it. Just got 99 Pray. Before prayer I was getting 96 summoning.

It depends on the spot you were and if you have actualy switched banks from time to time while doing so. Or did you train pray from 99 (from whatever lvl) in a single spot the whole time. Cause that is what bots do...

Its best to give as much information to us, sorry if your playing time is private but its important. Depending on your actions the appeal can be justified with additional information. Which i and other might make up if you do. its that simple, we know jagex acts fagex but being perm banned isnt the end yet. So you should really give it a shot now or in the near future.

If there was a banned account on your IP before, it is probably flagged OR you could have been running several accounts on the same IP.

 

I've never botted from my IP. All my botting is done on a VPS and all botted accounts are only ever logged in from the VPS.

 

Am I wrong I thought runescape wasn't like allowed to look up your IP so I dont think they can flag your IP. because I have had a banned acc like a year ago and have botted many accs since on the same IP no ban

 

Ofcause they are allowed to look at your IP... It's only like an address.

 

I had my main temp banned for macroing for 10 days back in '08 and that's when I didn't even know bots existed. I appealed it and it got denied so then I raged and quit for a year after that. I appealed it again a couple of weeks ago through an email to jagex and they wiped the punishment from my account completely. Now my ban metre is down in the green zone again.

Having an account banned for legit playing suprises me. You should appeal your ban. There is a chance that they'll accept it.

You said that at the time of your ban in '08, you didn't even know that bots existed. Then at the end of your post you said that you were surprised that he was banned for playing legit. If you'd also been banned for playing legit, then why would you be surprised?

On topic: I was actually banned for playing legit as well. I was training hunter. This was only a few weeks ago. My appeal was denied.
