High Pardon Section

I understand that its good to forgive and forget, I actually think its an amazing idea.. However,

I believe Members who have scammed (on Sythe) before shouldn't be forgiven so easily, Okay, the person has changed for the good, they're contributive and are classed as an asset to sythe, But NONE of that changed the fact that they stolen a possesion of someone elses and then just gets forgiven for it, Nor do they even have to pay it back(Or so it seems).

I suggest that more thought should be put into Pardoning people with scamming offences, Stealing property/cash of others is much more of a serious problem.

 

You might as well just include a link to my case, as you're not very subtle. I saw you viewing my pardon thread. =/

I tried to get in contact with him a year ago. He no longer signs on his MSN or gets on the site. What am I supposed to do?

Necro wasn't asked to reveal what he did, and he was pardoned for it.
It was a small scam and necro has done much for our community since.

 

Oh and for the record, the guy that I scammed, he wasn't from Sythe. =/ It was another black market.

Im saying In general that Scamming shouldn't be accepted so quickly, I even said "on Sythe" so please, don't jump to conclusion that I want Necro banned.

Its not a personal attack, im not soughting you to be punished or anything like that, Im rather suggesting that more thought should be put in pardoning someone for such an offence.

 

Hate to say it but if that's the case he should have a TWC, as scamming is scamming. Take Kadaj as an example now a ban evader what about him.

I disagree with this, if it was something done before you came to the site then there should be no need to judge harshly. If the scamming was done while just beginning on the site I'm positive admins take everything necessary into consideration before accepting/declining the request.

I just thought that a 1-post reply to a thread stating that their now completely untied to their shame is not thought about.

 

This does not take away their shame, it makes it so that they no longer have to fear being banned for passed actions, and can also feel good about telling the truth. Obviously the admins think about it before the simply pardon them, even if they don't show it in their post. There is no point in banning someone for something they did a long time ago if they are of value to the community.

 

Im not suggesting banning them, I just think the other party, (the scammed, in this case(if a member of sythe.org)) Should be paid back, I know this is the case in Gohanforever's Pardon.. But it should become adamant that this is what happens..
