The runescape website offers lots of advice about p mods and how you can improve your chances, believe it or not camping in one place with the goal of reporting people can decrease your chances at becoming a p mod. Your best bet is to just play like any other player offer lots of good advice and help to people who need it, show noobs around barrows ^_^ and if by chance you see someone breaking a rule report them.
