    Sorry, change of topic.

    I want to reinstall windows, preferably legally because my computer is having constant registry problems (so I think its registry).

    Is it possible to make myself a boot able DVD without having the original? I bought my laptop with vista home premium x86 preloaded.

    It would work, but I don't suggest it, you'll be frustrated on how slow it will be.

    Windows 7 On This Computer?
    Windows 7 is much faster and better than vista imo. I'm not sure what issues you are having but I would upgrade to windows 7 either way.
