Improving Eyesight ...?

Here's the thing.
Ever since I was 3 years old, I've wanted to become a air force pilot.
But of course, I got glasses and my dreams got shattered... They say that you can NOT have laser eye surgery for it.

Are there any natural ways of improving my eyesight?
Or is the dream gone?

Who's they? You can get operations such as Lasik done which make your vision perfect. This doesn't hurt your eyes at all, and could help you complete your dream..

 

How would they know even if you do get any eye procedure done?

Will your eyes really explode under the pressure if you go into the Air Force after having Lasik done? If so that's insane.

Yes they are, but i don't think it will help if you eyes are damaged.

Cite please? Lasik takes the very top layer off, and it depends on your vision itself. I suggest you look further into operations and the U.S. Air Forces' policy on them.

I have a -3.75 eyesight I use to be in cadets I could fly SOME aircrafts. But they said i wouldn't be able to fly anything such as fighter jets etc until i got laser eye surgery so I don't know whats going on with you. I was aloud :S

I heard that giving yourself an eye massage, just closing your eyes and gently rubbing them can help improve your eyesight if you do it a few times a day. around 15 minutes each time.

Go to a specialist. Get a specialized visor attachable with helmet. Hockey players who have bad eye sight use specialized visors that are equal to glasses. Or get specialized goggles. Only hope if they allow them. Best of luck.

 

After reading through some of these posts I'm sorry to say that I think your dream might be over, I can understand what they're saying about what the surgery involves

I might look into it to fix my eyes after spending many a night staring at screens

 

Contact lenses? I'm not sure if they are allowed or not. Your eyes won't explode if you get the damaged tissue laser'd of.

 

Carrots, if your dream is to become a piliot dont give uo yet. have your tryed going and seeing an eye doctor? You would be suprised how much they can help somtimes they can give you a steriode that increases your eye site.

 

Actually I've heard that they improve eyesight in the dark or that they don't improve it at all.
