    How to Turn Off Automatic Updates.

    Introduction.

    Hello and welcome to my guide on how to turn automatic updates off! I'm here today to walk you step-by-step on how to disable those pesky updates that are always constantly bothering you! Read on and enjoy!

    Guide.

    Step 1.

    Click on the "Start" button and click "All Programs".

    Step 2.

    Look for the program called "Windows Update" and click it. It should be located here:

    Step 3.

    Navigate to the left side of the newly opened program and click "Change Settings".

    Step 4.

    Under the place where it says "Important Updates", select "Never Check for Updates".

    Step 5.

    After you have done so, click "Ok" to save the changes.

    Yeah, some are. But very few of those are and it really irritates me to keep updating my computer. The Internet line here isn't too good and when it automatically updates, I can't do anything except wait for it to finish.

    Although i do agree with Ross, i think the majority of updates you receive are useless, annoying reminders that you truthfully don't care about. This guide was very well written and in an easy to understand manner, which is always a benefit when looking over a guide.

    For the colors i think you could change the white to a more vibrant, stand-out color. When you are reading this it is a pain to read the white text when the majority of the pictures directly beneath and above the text are white, making the text blend in with the images somewhat. With that being said though, you did have very good, informative pictures.

    Overall i would say that this is a bit of a basic guide, but still great because of the manner in which it is presented, being descriptive and easy to follow with good use of pictures.
