Thread regarding Plznate's ban, and the recent reform.

Tbh, why don't people stop with plznate already? He got what he deserved. Even more, he did not get a severe punishment. He will be back in 3 months with all his vouches and post counts. That's more than generous. Stop whining for the love of god.

 

amen. Plznate has contributed a lot to this community, and i've never seen him do bad, only good. though i haven't been on here for long at all, its obvious he is a nice person by the way he talks etc. [through threads etc. etc.]

so those hating on plznates 3 month ban, leave the site if its too much for you to handle, its most likely you haven't contributed jack to this community and will never do so during your stay.

 

Nate shouldn't be permanently banned, however he also can't get away with the rule he broke. In the past any fake voucher would be given a permanent ban.. in Nate's case a 3 month ban is fair. Completely lifting a permanent ban when it's obvious a rule has been broken would just show unfairness in the community.

 

I disagree with you. How is it a good thing? Now all the scammers will be like sweet im going to fake vouch like 20 and all ill get is 3 months at top's SWEET!

 

Mhm, but will they wait 3 months to scam? No. They will just evade the ban as always, then scam on another account. It only effects the legit traders, not the scammers.

Is anyone going to unban Nate anytime soon, I don't feel like waiting another 25 days for him to be unbanned. RS Marketplace sucks now that he is not there anymore, He used to be online 24/7 ready to MM for everyone and he would keep an eye on scammers, vaders and all other rule breakers.

Now that he did a small mistake in the past, he gets perm banned. If you guys decided to lift his perm ban, switch it to 3 months and then switch it to 1 month and on top of that modify a rule, I'm pretty sure you can unban him right now.
If nate wouldn't of been banned for self vouching, I'm pretty sure no one would of changed the rule.

I've been trying to sell some items and buy some and no one seems to be legit there, bunch of vaders and scammers. Now that Nate is not around, no mods are. Spyike is the only one that i noticed in that section. Global mods? Nope. Market mods? Nope.

I support to unban him too, but Sythe has already reduced his ban to a month, he did make a small mistake in the past, and be legit, etc now, but at least he isn't on a permanent, and the rules were ammended after his ban.

 

Unbanning him would be stupid...

Lets just unban every other mod that has contributed to the site even though they may own bot nets and such.

You can use any other omm if you like... Tmoe, Feren and other are very trusted and I can assure you they won't scam you.

 

His small mistake may be corruption but he NEVER had ANY BAD INTENTIONS.

He is the most trusted trader, to me. I'm 100% that no one in the market section would of hesitated to use him. Even now that he is banned, i still use him as a MM and I never have any problem with him.

Unlike rs market mods, nate doesnt "sit on his rank". He worked his way to omm and he is still working hard. Free MM service is very common with him, which you will never get from another OMM.

 

You bot just like half of this community so don't get botting involved in this lol, if you knew him and actually talked with him you wouldn't act like this over this.

 

Well stop whining, he made an offence, and Sythe has even reduced his ban from 3 months to 1 month, also the rules was changed from a perm to a temp ban too. Wait it out, if you don't trust any other MM's, don't trade till plznate is back, but there is many middlemen who are trusted enough, and won't scam.

 

Just because we don't actively post in the RuneScape section doesn't mean we don't exist. I also tend to avoid MMing for people that lack the common courtesy of respect - we are doing you a service.

Nate is a good friend of mine. He's lucky that his ban has been reduced as much as it has. Hell, 99% of the users would have remained a perm ban. Even after the rule change very few would have the ban dropped by two months. Be thankful he's coming back at all.

Just contact him over MSN if you trust him enough to still trade, simple as that.

Then if you avoid mming people why the heck you keep the "Official Middleman" title, it's just stupid lol. And that's what I do, I still use him as an MM.
