Okay well,

I haven't been on Sythe for the past 2 - 3 months. I was hoping for something to change, but it hasn't yet. It's a real nuisance at times, and most people agree.

For example,

I'm selling merchandise worth $30 - 40.
A leecher posts,

$150 i buy right now!!

It doesn't have to be a leecher, and it's not the issue of getting scammed, but it's basically like their getting free post count + Scamming ( only unexperienced people would get scammed ) but surely most of you guys know, after posting 10 + selling threads, 2/3 of the posts are just SPAM.

I don't really have a good suggestion, but maybe we can all brainstorm to figure one out?

If they've done it more than once, just make a report and be sure to point that out.

 

It's a problem and I know it exists as well. We really just can't tell people to stop making offers via posts. The only suggestion I made was disabling market post count, but that went down in flames.

I understand, but it's not going to stop them from posting again, they're leechers, they don't really care if they get infracted or not.

I'd infract them and send them the automated message and then go delete all of their posts. If they still didn't stop an automatic 3 day ban would be the solution.

 

Good point, but what's REALLY going to stop them, i know what you mean, but
2/5 of our sythe members lets say, come here to SCAM, nothing else, they don't care if they get banned or w/e.

They do that, and it works 1/30. When they get banned they don't really care they got what they wanted.

 

You can never stop them...that's just how it is and always will be..

 

If the person is obviously spamming for post count, then it can take a very short time for them to be banned and then you can just delete all their spam posts so they get banned and lose most of their post count.

 

i dont think theres much that can be done about it, and i doubt many would agree to remove the post count from the market place i am one of those such people.

it is a shame that there is so many spam offers like that but you can always just report them =)

 

Its stupid to keep removing post count from places. Its either we want it or we should remove it. Honestly.
