to get on Rs without the server registering your real IP? i tried http proxies and they didn't work

 

Why would you want the server to not register your real IP?

 

for instance: if i am training on someone else's account and I don't want them to see my IP as last logged in from.

 

do it through a vpn and proxy.. that should work.

 

Well most proxys don't work on runescape...

So the best way would be using a vps to train accounts.

 

I recently read a guide from another sythe user in which he used HotSpot shield to hide his IP. the link is here http://www.hotspotshield.com/

when you download and run the software, it will work as a proxy and show your ip as something from Wisconsin. I've used it on runescape accounts and it does work to change your IP.

It will still show an IP change, so if your reason is to avoid Jagex getting suspicious, it won't really help.

 

This. The only thing a VPN is going to do for you is if you got IP banned and want to evade.

 

So you wouldn't recommend a VPN/VPS if you run a botting service?
